The Apache BVal project implements the Java EE Bean Validation specification(s) and related extensions, and became a top-level project of the foundation on February 15, 2012.
No new releases. Apache BVal 1.1.0 was released on June 10, 2015.
Some light JIRA and mailing list activity this quarter. Unfortunately none of us has had quite enough time to respond to these fairly recent reports as yet.
